Healing Touch (HT) is a powerful self-care method whose tools are your hands and heart.  It is for health.  It is for self care, your family and friend's well being, and if you choose, your road to another professional path as a certified practitioner.

HT is a nursing continuing ed program for anyone whether you are a RN, MD, DO, body-oriented therapist, counselor, psychotherapist, health care professional, social worker, janitor, householder or other individual.   You do not need to be a nurse or medical professional to learn this.  You only need to be someone who cares, who is committed to healing, health and wellness and who desires an in-depth understanding of healing work that uses energy-based concepts.

Healing Touch is a relaxing, nurturing energy therapy.  Gentle touch assists in balancing your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.  Healing Touch works with your energy field to support your natural ability to heal.  It is safe for all ages and for all levels of health.  It works in harmony with standard medical care.  It is complementary healthcare at its best.

This course is an approved course of study of the HTI Healing Touch Certificate Program.  The HTI Healing Touch Certificate Program is an endorsed program of the American Holistic Nurses Association.

Healing Touch International, Inc. is the non-profit professional membership and educational organization for Healing Touch. It was established in March 1996, to receive the AHNA Healing Touch Certificate Program and the process for Healing Touch Certification of Practitioners (CHTP) and Instructors (CHTI) from the American Holistic Nurses Association.

The American Holistic Nurses Association is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to the principles and practice of holistic nursing defined as "the renewing and enhancing of the art of nursing and caring for the whole person"

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
